Every year, Women in Tech launches a code festival in order to fight gender disparity in the tech field. We are proud to partner with them since we regularly strive for more diversity in our campuses worldwide. In this article, we wanted to share the experience of a couple of women who joined our 9-week coding bootcamp and dived into a new career in tech.
Yukari worked as a paralegal in a Patent Law Firm in Osaka for 6 years before moving to Berlin in summer 2018. After 9 intense weeks, she learned the coding skills to start her job as a Junior Ruby Backend Developer. She now combines her previous knowledge in law with her newly learned coding skills.
