Cheat Codes for Policy & Regulation

によってLe Wagon Montreal

説明

Many startups build technically impressive products without considering regulatory requirements early enough. This can create barriers to growth, funding and long-term success.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to understand the policy and regulatory environment around your product, build with regulation in mind, and communicate more effectively about what you’re creating.

Why should you join?
You want to navigate the regulatory landscape with more confidence. You’re curious about public policy and want to understand how it can influence product design. Or you want to communicate your ideas more effectively to policymakers and government officials.

Who is this for?
Anyone building a product or startup who wants to better understand how regulations might affect their business.
Whether you're working in AI, finance, healthcare, transportation or another industry, this workshop will help you navigate the rules that apply to your product.

Bring your own ideas or challenges! We’ll discuss real examples and offer practical advice during the workshop.

What you’ll learn
The workshop is divided into two parts:

Cheat codes
You don’t need to be a public policy expert to think like one. Learn how to research, read and understand policy and regulatory texts, and identify what they actually mean for you and the product you’re building.

Framing and messaging
Learn two essential communication skills for talking about your product. You’ll explore how to frame your ideas and adapt your messaging persuasively for different audiences, including policymakers and government officials.
