Did you know, the Talent Shortage Survey found that "40% of employers reported difficulties in finding skilled talent"? The World Economic Forum said that we need to take a "proactive approach to large-scale re-skilling to make lifelong learning truly possible."? Here's what we're doing to help fuel the solution.
During EdTech week we hosted our Executive APIs workshop for Learning and Talent leads who want to up-skill and receive an introduction to automation. After a networking breakfast, attendees learnt how to link different IT systems together and automate repetitive tasks, as well as how to prototype an automated service without writing a single line of code!
We also attended the EdTechX 2019 conference, learning all about the future virtual learning - this hologram speaker was part of a panel with Imperial College. It's no longer just the #FutureOfEdTech to have guests zap in from anywhere in the world! Other talks included data on the growth of coding bootcamps, the future of automation and allocation of jobs in the labour market, basic coding for kids, VR and AR in businesses and other cutting edge technologies.
