Fábrica de Startups is offering each scholarship recipient a €2450 discount on the total cost of Le Wagon’s tuition (limited to 10 students). Fábrica de Startups believes in making technology more open and available in order to foster creativity and develop the skills that will in turn further build Portugal’s ecosystem.
Scholarships are only offered to applicants that are residents in Portugal. To be eligible, applicants must successfully complete Le Wagon's standard admissions process and be officially accepted. Acceptance into the program is not a guarantee of scholarship funding.
Students who choose to defer enrollment after being awarded a scholarship are not guaranteed the same amount for a future session. To be considered, students must complete the online application. Candidates who are successfully admitted into our program will be considered. We encourage students to make their interest and qualifications known to their admissions contact during the first interview.

This cowgirl turned wannabe-European spent the first 5 years after university working and traveling through Asia and Africa before discovering her love of Southern Europe – Portugal in particular. Shannon’s professional focus was mainly marketing and business development, but entering Lisbon’s startup scene has changed her tune. She is now warming up her tech muscles while pursuing her own startup dreams and mobilizing Portugal's inspired-entrepreneurs to bootstrap and build “it” themselves.
When Cyrille realised it was time to drop out of his 5-year "engineering school" in Lyon, France, it was to join the startup scene and learn how to code properly by hands-on work. After France, he moved to Vancouver then later on to Berlin sharpening his back-end development skills. In 2015, he decided to devote his time to teaching and specifically to dev-bootcamps as they reflect exactly his idea of education for a fast-paced, high-tech and innovative world.
