Data analytics refers to the process of collecting, processing, and analyzing raw data to extract insights and make informed decisions. The field encompasses a broad range of techniques and methods, including data mining, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.

Data analytics is used in various industries to improve decision-making processes, identify trends and patterns, and gain a competitive advantage.
The process involves cleaning and transforming data to make it suitable for analysis, followed by exploring and visualizing the data to gain insights.

Data analytics also involves developing and implementing predictive models to make informed decisions and identify potential risks or opportunities.
With the increasing amount of data available today, data analytics has become an essential tool for businesses and organizations looking to succeed in a data-driven world.

The Data science & AI course requires some basic knowledge of programming and mathematics.

Well, you must be comfortable with data types & variables, conditions, loops, functions and data structures like arrays and dictionaries (also called hashes in some programming languages). If you know those topics in other languages than Python (like Ruby, JavaScript, C++, etc.), you have the right programming prerequisites!
  • How much mathematics do I need to know? In order to join our Data Science course, you also need a minimum level in Mathematics and to be familiar with concepts covered in high school's scientific section. We need you to be comfortable with functions, their derivatives & systems of linear equations. To get up to speed, some additional preparation work will be given to you before the bootcamp start to get a refresh of all these concepts as well as more advanced knowledge on linear algebra and statistics.

Data analytics course
The data analytics bootcamp is beginner-friendly, with no prerequisites required. What counts for us is that you’re motivated to start your new tech journey.

To become a successful data analyst, one must possess a combination of technical and soft skills. Technical skills are essential in handling large data sets, performing data analysis, and interpreting data.

Examples of technical skills include proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerBI and, Google Data Studio, programming languages such as Python, R and SQL, alongside business intelligence tools, and machine learning.

Soft skills are equally important for a data analyst to succeed in their role. Communication is key, as data analysts must effectively communicate their findings to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are also crucial, as data analysts must identify trends and patterns in data, and use that information to make informed decisions.

Other soft skills include attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the data team. A successful data analyst must continually update their skills, staying current with the latest technology and trends in data analysis.

In most cities, the bootcamp is taught in English.

In French cities, the program is in French. You will have a 1h30 lecture in the morning in French, and a 1h30 live-code in the evening in French as well. So, if you don't understand French correctly, you won't be able to attend the bootcamp in France.

In some other cities (São Paulo, Shanghai, Chengdu, Tokyo) specific sessions are organised in other languages (Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese). You can check the language of the next batch on the "Apply" page.

Extra info: all the challenges' instructions and written documentation are in English, so all students must have a good level and understanding or written English, even in cities where lectures are given in another language.

Upon completion of the data analytics bootcamp, you will be equipped with all the necessary skills to jumpstart your career in a data analytics team. You will gain proficiency in exploring, cleaning, and transforming data into actionable insights, as well as implementing machine learning models from start to finish in a production environment, all while working collaboratively in teams using industry-standard tools.

The possibilities for your career after the bootcamp are numerous :
  • You can seek employment as :

  1. Data analyst
  2. Business analyst
  3. Data manager
  4. Data consultant
  5. Work as a freelancer on various data analytics projects.
  6. For those with an entrepreneurial spirit, you can even launch your own project.

This bootcamp will provide you with the foundational knowledge and practical experience to succeed in the fast-growing field of data analytics.
